Automotive Investment Scheme (AIS)
The AIS promotes investment and competitiveness within South Africa’s automotive sector.
It provides a cash incentive of 20%–35% of qualifying capital costs for approved projects by motor vehicle, component, or tooling manufacturers.

Applications must be submitted 90–120 days before project commissioning.
